Abstract:
To solve the problems associated with the conventional root vegetables harvesters in which: a flexible container filled with root vegetables is unloaded and put onto a field behind the machine body; when harvesting crops on an adjacent line, the flexible container dropped onto the field lies right beside the traveling machine body; there is a risk that the flexible container contacts the machine body, so that the flexible container breaks and the root vegetables scatters over the field, hindering proper harvest work; and to provide a novel root vegetables harvester that avoids a storage member such as a flexible container dropped onto the field from contacting the machine body.SOLUTION: A root vegetables harvester has a storage part E provided with a mounting table 26 which has a storage member 22 mounted thereon, for storing root vegetables conveyed from a harvesting part C. An operating arm 24 is also provided to hang the storage member 22 mounted on the mounting table 26 to drop it onto a field outside the machine body in the horizontal direction. The mounting table 26 is tilted forward or backward so that the storage member 22 mounted on the mounting table 26 slides down on the mounting table 26 to drop to the field in front of or behind the mounting table 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
