Abstract:

To provide a rope cleaning tool capable of increasing a contact area between a cleaning means and a rope to increase a cleaning area, and capable of enhancing thereby cleaning efficiency for the rope to shorten a cleaning time for the rope.

This rope cleaning tool 22 cleans the rope 21 connected to a car 42 of an elevator elevated in an elevator shaft 41. The rope cleaning tool 22 is provided with a tool body 29 fixed to a fixed structure in an elevator shaft inner wall 41a or the elevator shaft 41. The tool body 29 is attached radially with the at least three cleaning means 23 for contacting respectively with the rope 21 to clean the rope 21.
