Abstract:

To provide a rope hooking method of an elevator not receiving limitation to winding to a sheave.

A gondola 25 in which a rope drum 26 is mounted on an upper face and underfloor sheave 12 is attached to an lower face is raised to the upper part in a hoistway 21. A rope 16 is unwound upward from an opposing side of the rope drum 26 of one side face of a car 11 and wound and hooked to a hoisting machine sheave 13, and the front end is locked to the gondola 25. The gondola 25 is lowered and the front end of the rope 16 is wound and hooked to a hanging sheave 15 of a balancing weight 14, and the front end is locked to the gondola 25 again. The rope drum 26 is reversed such that a rope umwinding side becomes an opposite side, the rope 16 is unwound and loosened. The rope drum 26 is returned and reversed and wound and the loosened rope part is hooked to the underfloor sheave 12. The gondola 25 is raised, the front end of the rope 16 is fixed to the second rope hitch 23, the base end of the rope 16 is separated from the rope drum 26 and fixed to the first rope hitch 22.
