Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope latching device of a crane in which the workability at the time when drawing a jib and storing the jib is improved and the auxiliary hoist rope is effectively prevented from coming off from an auxiliary sheave in the state where a sub-hook is suspended in a single rope state from a tip part of a boom.SOLUTION: A rope latching device of a crane includes a pin member that prevents a rope from coming off from a sheave by being mounted to a sheave block when a jib is stored and in the state where a hook is suspended from the sheave, and connects a base end part of the jib and a tip part of a boom when the jib is in use. The pin member is removed from the sheave block when the jib is in use, and thereby the rope can be separated from the sheave and the jib can be drawn with respect to the boom.
