Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a storage rate of a bulk material in a bulk material storage facility in which a non-self-traveling stacker is provided and a storage area being rectangular in plan view is regulated.SOLUTION: A bulk material storage facility in which a storage area being rectangular in plan view is regulated comprises: a non-self-traveling stacker having a boom, a turning device for turning the boom and a boom conveyor for transporting a bulk material from a base end part to a tip end part of the boom along the boom, for discharging the bulk material from the tip end part of the boom while turning the boom; a carrying-in conveyor for supplying the bulk material to the stacker; and a carrying-out conveyor for carrying-out the bulk material from the storage area. In the bulk material storage facility, the stacker is so operated that a falling position of the bulk material draws a straight line parallel to a long side of the storage area and that at least one of the discharge speed, the discharge position and the locus of falling of the bulk material is changed correspondingly to the turning position of the boom.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
