To provide a rotary connector device capable of greatly reducing the number of times that a flat cable is fed out with a reversed portion of the flat cable moved in a sliding manner.
A steering roll connector 10 accommodates a flat cable C in a housing space in such a manner that the flat cable C can be wound up and wound back. On a top face of a retainer 41, a plurality of rotary rollers 43 and a regulation part 48 are provided. The rotary rollers 43 are arranged concentrically with the retainer 41 at equal intervals in a circumferential direction. The regulation part 48 is arranged on a side where a reversed portion Cr of a rotary roller 43a, which is one of the plurality of rotary rollers 43, is wound around such that the reversed portion Cr is pressedly received by the regulation part 48 with a gap provided to allow attachment/detachment of the reversed portion Cr. The rotary roller 43a around which the reversed portion Cr is wound is arranged outer side of a reference line D connecting axial centers of other rotary rollers 43 disposed concentrically with the retainer 41 in a circumferential direction.
