Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector to be used for steering device of automobiles, which is highly reliable and in which the generation of noise is lowered at a low cost.
SOLUTION: A guide ring 7 for guiding a flat cable 4 is housed so as to abut elastically on a space 3A between an outside case 1A and an inside case 2A, and while being formed into a structure such that the rotary movement thereof is performed in the condition that a frictional resistance with the inside case 2A is larger than the frictional resistance with the outside case 1A. With this structure, a rotary connector having high reliability, in which generation of noise is markedly reduced, is obtained at a low cost.
