To provide a rotary conveyor which can be compactly and easily installed in a narrow working space part in a tunnel.

This rotary conveyor comprises: a circular frame-shaped body 5 which has an annular space part 4; an annular conveying body 11 which is composed of an annular conveying part 7, which is fitted rotatably into the space part 4 in the body 5 and wherein a plurality of conveying chambers 25 are provided annularly, and a supporting shaft member 10 which makes the conveying part 7 supported rotatably via a rod-shaped coupling member 8; and a rotary driving device 12 which rotates the conveying body 11. A supply port 26 for sediment is provided in a lower part of a circular side plate 2A which forms one side wall part of the body 5, parallel to a plane including a moving locus of the conveying part 7, and an exhaust port 27 is provided in an upper part of the side plate 2A. In addition, the body 5 is inclined with respect to a vertical plane so that one side plate 2A of the body 5 can point slightly downward.
