Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the rotary disk type separator which drastically decreases the driving power required for rotation of rotors without drastically lowering a transmission flow flux.
CONSTITUTION: The diameter of the rotors 2 of the rotary disk type separator consisting of the rotors 2 and ceramic membranes 3 provided to face the surface of these rotors is set at the size of 40 to 70% of the diameter of the ceramic membranes 3. While the decrease in the transmission flow flux by such diameter is slight, the rotational driving power of the rotors decreases to ≤1/3.
