To inexpensively perform accurate rotational speed control of a motor by improving speed resolution of the motor determined according to frequency of a clock signal without replacing a rotary driving device with an expensive device coping with a high-speed clock signal.
The rotary driving device includes: the motor for rotating a rotating body; a motor controller; a speed detection part that outputs a pulse every time the rotating body or a driven rotating body following the rotating body rotates by a fixed angle; a count part that measures the cycle of the pulse output by the speed detection part by counting the clock signal; and an arithmetic operation part that obtains a difference between a value obtained by multiplying a command value to be counted by the count part as the cycle of the pulse by a predetermined value and a value obtained by multiplying the counted value counted actually by the count part by the predetermined value, integrates the obtained difference, and outputs an acceleration/deceleration command to the motor controller based on a calculated value obtained by dividing the integrated value by the predetermined value.
