Abstract:

To inhibit a fluid from flowing into a recess in a rotor core, and reduce windage loss.SOLUTION: A rotor (10) includes a first rotor part (31), and a second rotor part (32) formed into a substantially circular shape. In the first rotor part (31), a recess (14) extending in the axial direction is formed in the outer peripheral surface, and is located so as to face a stator core (6), and a rotor core (11) is exposed from at least a portion of the outer peripheral surface. The second rotor part (32) is disposed in a position projecting in the axial direction from the stator core (6), the recess (14) is not formed in the outer peripheral surface of the second rotor part, and the rotor core (11) is exposed from at least a portion of the outer peripheral surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
