Abstract:

To secure insulation of core pieces neighboring in a circumference direction, in a rotary electric machine core of a separated core structure composed of a plurality of core pieces, arranged in the circumference direction, each composed of a lamination of a plurality of electrically insulated core plates.

A rotary electric machine core 3 includes a plurality of core pieces 30 composed of the lamination of the plurality of core plates in a mutually electrically insulated state. The plurality of core pieces 30 are arrayed in a circumferential direction C along a cylindrically shaped core reference plane P, and further, the core pieces 30 mutually neighboring in the circumferential direction C are fixed in a manner to contact to each other. At least between contact planes 30p, which are side faces of the core pieces 30 in the circumferential direction C, an insulation 9 is provided to electrically insulate between the core pieces 30 that mutually neighbor in the circumferential direction C.
