Abstract:
To provide a rotary electric machine in which the influence of a peripheral metal member on a detection result of a sensor using eddy current is reduced.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a rotary electric machine including: a rotor; a non-rotation part that supports the rotor in a rotatable manner; a sensor rotor that rotates with the rotor; a sensing part that has a coil axially facing the sensor rotor and generates an electric signal depending on a value of a parameter related to rotation of the rotor by causing eddy current in the sensor rotor through energization of the coil; and a sensor support part that is fixed to the non-rotation part and supports the sensing part. The sensor support part is formed of a material including a high permeability material or a metal material, and covers the sensing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
