Abstract:
To make it possible to reduce the volume or weight of a shield structure.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine according to the embodiment comprises a rotor comprising a field part where a magnetic field is generated; and a stator provided on the outer diameter side of the rotor and having a stator coil from which a magnetic field that interacts with the magnetic field generated at the field part is generated. The stator comprises a plurality of magnetic shields provided on the outer diameter side of the stator coil and made from a plurality of cylindrically shaped magnetic materials arranged to be separated from each other in a radial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
