Abstract:
To provide a rotary electric machine which can suppress conduction between a slip ring and a brush from becoming unstable.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine comprises: a rotor in which a field winding is wound around a rotor core; a rotating shaft provided through the rotor core; a positive electrode slip ring and a negative electrode slip ring, which are arranged around an outer periphery of the rotating shaft and are electrically connected to the field winding; a plurality of positive electrode brushes and a plurality of negative electrode brushes, which slide on respective outer peripheries of the positive electrode slip ring and the negative electrode slip ring; and a plurality of positive electrode springs and a plurality of negative electrode springs, which bring the plurality of positive electrode brushes and the plurality of negative electrode brushes into contact with the plurality of positive electrode slip rings the negative electrode slip rings with prescribed pressing force. Each of different natural frequencies is set to each of a plurality of different brush spring systems on a positive electrode side, meanwhile, each of different natural frequencies is set to each of a plurality of different brush spring systems on a negative electrode side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
