Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electronic component capable of smoothly rotating a rotary knob and simultaneously effectively preventing a liquid from being infiltrated into an electrical function part.SOLUTION: A rotary electronic component comprises: a base 60; a case 140 which is installed on the base 60 to form an electrical function part accommodation space A1 between the case and the base 60 and further includes a knob insertion hole 143; and a rotary knob 200 which is installed on the case 140 to rotationally operate an electrical function part (slider 120 or the like) disposed within the electrical function part accommodation space A1 through the knob insertion hole 143. Between the base 60 and the case 140, a drip-proof member 90 is held in such a manner that the electrical function part accommodation space A is enclosed. The drip-roof member 90 includes: a held part 95 that is held between the base 60 and the case 140; a connection part 97 which expands radially outwards from an outer periphery of the held part 95 and covers an outer peripheral side of the held part 95; and a thick part 91 that surrounds a periphery of the connection part 97.
