Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electronic component capable of smoothly rotating a rotary knob and simultaneously effectively preventing a liquid from being infiltrated to an electrical function part.SOLUTION: A rotary electronic component comprises: a base 40; a case 100 which is installed on the base 40 to form an electrical function part accommodation space A1 between the case and the base 40 and further includes a knob insertion hole 109 on its top face; and a rotary knob 200 which is installed on the case 100 to rotationally operate an electrical function part (slider 70 or the like) disposed within the electrical function part accommodation space A1 through the knob insertion hole 109. An abutment part 143 of a drip-proof member 140 having elasticity is abutted in such a manner that an outer peripheral side face of the case 100 (a case body 101) is enclosed. The drip-proof member 140 includes: the abutment part 143; a connection part 145 that is expanded radially outwards from an outer periphery of the abutment part 143 and covers an outer peripheral side of the abutment part 143; and a thick part 147 that is formed around the connection part 145.
