Abstract:
To improve fuel combustion performance of a rotary engine.SOLUTION: A recess 7 of an outer peripheral surface 2a of a rotor 2 is equipped with an L side recessed portion 7a that extends forward in a rotor rotating direction from a center in a longitudinal direction of an outer peripheral surface 2a, and a T side recessed portion 7b that continues to the L side recessed portion 7a and extends from the center to a front side in the rotor rotating direction. A cross section of the recess 7 when traversing the recess 7 by a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the outer peripheral surface 2a of the rotor 2 and passing through a center of the rotor 2, becomes the largest at a center part 7c in the longitudinal direction of the outer peripheral surface 2a, and the length of the L side recessed portion 7a is longer than the length of the T side recessed portion 7b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
