PURPOSE: To improve the delivery capacity of a rotary feeder for bulk by constructing the bottom plate thereof rotating on a guide of a plurality of individually rotatable, divided bottom plates and by rotating them toward the delivery side by a notch formed in a rail.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of divided bottom plates 6a are kept horizontal by guide rollers 8 at other than a notch 10a due to a guide rail 10. Rotary walls 1a and 1b with a larger and a smaller diameters, respectively, and the group of the divided bottom plates 6 from an annular pass with a U-shaped section, which receives bulk (a) thrown from a chute 11 and transfers rotatably the bulk (a). When the notch 10a is reached, the guide rollers 8 are disengaged from the guide rail 10 and respective divided bottom plates 6a are rotated about radial axes in the direction shown by an arrow toward the side where the bulk (a) is delivered. The bulk (a) falls down due to its own dead weight to be discharged. then the divided bottom plates 6a return to be horizontal by means of the guide rollers 8. This structure can improve delivery capacity and reliability and reduce necessary power.
