PURPOSE: To reduce load drop compared with prior one and prevent the rotational power for a rotary feeder from reduction and the load from pulverization since the load does not have any slip surfaces by rotating simultaneously a trough and a belt to form an integral U-shaped transfer section.
CONSTITUTION: A load delivered from a material supply chute 1 drops onto a trough 3. A conveyer belt 7 is mounted on the outer periphery of a fixed wall 10 and an a small pulley 8 is driven by a motor 16 so that the load on the trough 3 is transferred. That is, the load and conveyer belt 7 are moved simultaneously without slippage. Since the trough 3 is rotated about a center of the fixed wall 10 clockwise by a drive motor 4 and a gear 12, the load moves to the position of an opening of the fixed wall 10. Since then the belt 7 is withdrawn inside the fixed wall 10, the trough 3 is largely parted from the belt 7 so that the load is dropped into a delivery chute 2 by gravity. Thus, since any conventional gaps are absent between the trough 3 and the fixed wall 10, the drop-out of the load is reduced and the reduction of rotational power of a feeder and the pulverization of the load and prevented.
