Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a fluid joint for connecting a number of pipes by forming at lest one joint outlet on the rotary surface in one part and installing each recessed rotary groove over the whole periphery of the rotary surface in the other part and forming each fluid joint outlet at the proper positions on the bottom parts of both the recessed rotary grooves.

CONSTITUTION: An outlet port 13 is formed at the proper position of the rotary contact surface 12 of a fixed part A, and a recessed groove 4 is formed on the whole periphery of the rotary contact surface (i.e., cylindrical inner wall) 14 of a rotary part B, at the position opposed to the outlet port 13. Each O-ring 7 is installed in a small groove 6 between the recessed grooves 4 and the outside of the recessed groove 4, and seal is performed for the space formed by the recessed grooves 4 and the outside field. Then, a hollow pipe 8 is formed so as to communicate to the outside on the bottom of a recessed groove 7, and an outlet port 9 is formed at the top edge. Accordingly, a joint which can connection-joins the fluid in a multipipe through the rotary contact surface can be obtained.
