Abstract:
To provide a rotary heating furnace and its operation method in which generation of unburned gas and NOx can be suppressed and a heated material can be efficiently and stably heated at a desired temperature.
This furnace is provided with a furnace chamber toroidal in planar shape, a rotary horizontal hearth, and burners for heating a material. Heat storage bodies are provided respectively along internal and external walls of the chamber, a number of sets of neighboring burners for alternate combustion are provided in the furnace. Each burner is provided with a nozzle tip having a fuel-jetting port and an air-jetting port separated from each other in the horizontal direction.
