To provide a rotary kiln for burning wastes capable of implementing high-load combustion, adjusting burning capacity in a wide range, dispensing with a secondary combustion chamber and a stoker furnace, miniaturizing equipment as a whole, reducing generation of harmful substances, and implementing stable burning operation.
This rotary kiln comprises a tubular flame burner provided with a nozzle for supplying fuel into the furnace and a nozzle for supplying a combustion gas at an inlet side of the furnace in the tangent direction of an inner wall surface, a rotary cylindrical furnace, a driving mechanism for rotating the rotary cylindrical furnace along its axis, and a burnt object supplying device mounted at one end inlet side of the rotary cylindrical furnace.
