Abstract:
To provide a rotary kiln capable of suitably suppressing the inflow of the air to the inside of a kiln body.SOLUTION: The object to be treated is charged to a charge part 30. A carrier part 40 carries the object to be treated charged from the charge part 30 in a state where the charge part 30 is closed. A kiln body 10 is cylindrically formed. Stationary hoods 20A, 20b cover opening parts 12A, 12B located at the edge part in the axial direction of the kiln body 10 and further rotatably hold the outer circumferential part of the kiln body 10. An atmospheric gas feed part 50 feeds atmospheric gas to the inside of the kiln body 10. A pressure detection part 60 detects the pressure of the gas at the inside of the kiln body 10. A control part 70 controls, in accordance with the pressure at the inside of the kiln body 10 detected by the pressure detection part 60, at least either the feed amount or feed pressure of the atmospheric gas to be fed to the inside of the kiln body 10 by the atmospheric gas feed part 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
