Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a large amount of time and effort are required for assembling a combination adapter.SOLUTION: A rotary connector assembly 5 includes a connector housing 10 sized to mesh with a combination adaptor 6 and a locking ring 20. The connector housing 10 includes at least one flexible tub. One of the connector housing 10 and the locking ring 20 includes a guide pin, and the other includes a guide member arranged between the guide pin and flexible tub. When rotating the locking ring 20 in a first direction, the tub is bent radially inward to a first position, and fixes the combination adaptor 6 into the connector housing 10. When rotating the locking ring 20 in a second direction, the tub is bent radially outward, and releases the combination adaptor 6 from the connector housing 10. When the locking ring 20 rotates between the first and second positions, the guide pin moves for the guide member.
