Abstract:
To omit a magnet for position detection.SOLUTION: A rotary machine 1 includes a stator 11, a rotor 12, a rotating shaft 13 and a magnetic sensor 14. The rotor 12 rotates against the stator 11. The rotating shaft 13 is connected with the rotor 12 and rotates in accordance with the rotation of the rotor 12. The magnetic sensor 14 detects a position of the rotor 12. The rotor 12 has a plurality of magnets. The magnetic sensor 14 opposes to the rotor 12 in an axial direction D1 which is a direction parallel to the rotating shaft 13 and detects the position of the rotor 12 on the basis of a magnetic field from the plurality of magnets of the rotor 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
