Abstract:
To provide a magnetic rotary operation device that excels in dust-proof and drip-proof performance.SOLUTION: A rotary operation device (20) comprises: a rotary operation member (200); a base member (240); a magnet (210), a plurality of magnetic poles of which are alternately magnetized, with the direction of magnetization being parallel to a prescribed shaft, and which rotates around the prescribed shaft together with the rotation of the rotary operation member; a housing (10) for holding a first magnetic substance (220) and a second magnetic substance (230) respectively arranged so as to sandwich the magnet, facing the magnetized surfaces of the magnet, and the base member; and a detection part (140) for detecting a change of a magnetic field due to the rotation of the magnet. It is possible to generate an operation force in accordance with the positional change of magnetic polarity, a first tooth part (221) of the first magnetic substance and a second tooth part (231) of the second magnetic substance due to the rotation of the magnet. The magnet and the first and second magnetic substances are accommodated in the inside of the housing, with the detection part located at a position that does not overlap the magnet as seen from the thrust direction of the magnet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
