Abstract:
To prevent an electrical connection from becoming unstable.SOLUTION: A rotary operation type electronic component 1 comprises a substrate 2, a rotating body 3, a plurality of terminals 4, a contact plate 5, and a slide member 6. The substrate 2 has a ring-shaped storage part 24. The rotating body 3 has a ring-shaped flange part 32 stored in the storage part 24 and is rotatable with respect to the substrate 2. The contact plate 5 has a plurality of contacts arranged on a bottom face of the storage part 24. The slide member 6 has a plurality of sliders 61 that slide on the bottom face of the storage part 24 in association with the rotation of the rotating body 3 and are brought into contact with the contacts. The slide member 6 has a ring shape with an outer peripheral part 62. The substrate 2 has a holding part 224 that projects from the bottom face of the storage part 24 toward the slide member 6 and holds the outer peripheral part 62 of the slide member 6. The slide member 6 is held such that the outer peripheral part 62 of the slide member 6 is sandwiched by the flange part 32 of the rotating body 3 and the holding part 224 of the substrate 2 and the movement in a rotation axis direction of the rotating body 3 is regulated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
