PURPOSE: To perform molding at higher speed than that in conventional injection molding, by rotating synchronously a plurality of female dies arranged in the circumferential direction and male dies cooperating with said female dies in a rotary pressure molding apparatus for synthetic resin, and by passing them through a material charging zone, a pressure molding zone and a molded-article discharging zone sequentially.
CONSTITUTION: In a rotary pressure molding apparatus for synthetic resin, a plurality of female dies 38 and a plurality of male dies 34 each cooperating with each of said female dies 38 are provided at intervals in the circumferential direction, said female dies 38 and said male dies 34 are rotated in mutual synchronization and passed through a material charging zone A, a pressure molding zone B and a molded-article discharging zone C sequentially, and thereby molded articles of synthetic resin are obtained. On the occasion, the male dies 34 and the female dies 38 are separated from each other in the material charging zone A and the molded-article discharging zone C, and are made to approach each other in the pressure molding zone B so as to apply pressure molding to melted resin. This method enables the molding of the articles of synthetic resin at higher speed than that in the conventional injection molding.
