To provide a rotary printing machine which prevents disadvantages of a conventional apparatus and surely realize high operational easiness and accuracy.
For the rotary printing machine having at least one printer, especially a roll sheet printer, the printer has a plurality of printer drums 2, at least one of those printer drums acts on linkage to at least one functional linkage machine 3 provided for achieving the function necessary for operating the printer, or is removed therefrom. In the rotary printing machine supported by a linear guide apparatus 4 by providing a driver 5, a positioning apparatus 11 having a controller 12 is provided to the functional linkage machine 3. At least one signal based on a position, which is dispatched by sensors 21; 23 provided to the functional linkage machine 3, is supplied to the controller. By controlling the driver 5 with the controller, the operation becomes easy and accuracy of functioning is increased.
