Abstract:
To provide a rotary switch which allows a dial to emit light while achieving the compact size.SOLUTION: A rotary switch 1 is constituted by arranging a cylindrical rotor 3 rotating together with a cylindrical dial 2 having the light transmissivity coaxially with the dial 2, fixing a cylindrical light guide lens 9 continuous in the shaft direction to the dial 2 on the outer peripheral side of the rotor 3, and oppositely arranging an LED (light source) 10 on an incidence surface 9d formed on the end surface in the shaft direction of the light guide lens 9. The LEDs 10 are arranged at an equiangular pitch in the peripheral direction. A V-shaped notch 12 is formed between the two LEDs 10 adjacent in the peripheral direction on the incidence surface 9d of the light guide lens 9. A triangle window 11 is formed on a portion opposite to the LED 10 of the end in the shaft direction close to the incidence surface 9d of the light guide lens 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
