To provide a rotary table device of simple constitution and excellent practicability such as allowing the attachment of a rotary joint as well as the appropriate correction of unbalance torque over the whole rotation region of 360°.
This rotary table device has a rotary table 4 to which a workpiece 1 is mounted, and a correcting mechanism 6 for correcting unbalance torque generated to the rotary table due to the mounting position of the workpiece 1. The correcting mechanism 6 is composed of a first rotation body 2 rotated interlocked with the rotary table 4; a second rotation body 3 provided in juxtaposition with the first rotation body 2 and rotated interlocked with the first rotation body 2; and a torque generating mechanism 7 for generating correction torque at the second rotation body 3. The correction torque generated by the torque generating mechanism 7 is applied to the first rotation body 2 to correct the unbalance torque generated to the rotary table 4.
