Abstract:
To provide a rotary-anode X-ray tube with improved motor efficiency.
The X-ray tube (20) are equipped with a vacuum envelope (26), in which a cathode (23) and a rotatably supported anode (30) are mounted. A rotor (70) is included so as to drive the anode in free rotation. The rotor (70) is electrically insulated from the anode (30) with a disk (76) made of insulating material.
