Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize down-sizing and reduce the power consumption by receiving a serial analog picture signal, with corrected responsivity and a gain control signal and multiplying both signals to generate a serial analog picture signal with corrected gain.
SOLUTION: Every detectors 50 are tested for observation of a standard heat source, and their responses are recorded and their correction coefficients are calculated. A microprocessor 122 is given the correction coefficient and supplies a command to a respensiveness controller 200. As a result, a serial analog video signal 52 is standardized by the controller 200 on the basis of the correction coefficient for the specific detector 50 for a thermal picture device. Next, a gain controller 202 multiplies a serial analog picture signal 201 by a gain control signal 209 from the microprocessor 122, thereby generating a serial analog signal 203 whose gain is compensated. The analog signal 203 is allowed to refer to the voltage reference from a reference voltage circuit 212 in an A/D buffer 204, and an accurate refernce signal is generated in an A/D convertor 92.
