To obtain a rotating body the weight of which does not increase even if the rotating body is made larger in size to deal with a sheet-like member of a larger size, which can hold the sheet-like member securely around its drum so that the member is wound and which does not require a drive system of higher output even if its weight increases.
A printing plate 12 is guided only to the peripheral surface of cylindrical bodies 210 and is wound thereon. The cylindrical bodies 210 are disposed at fixed intervals in the axial direction of the rotation axis 200, and support the whole area of the printing plate 12 in a nearly equal balance. The printing plate 12 is flexible to some extent, and takes a nearly circular form only by bending it in the space. Only by disposing a guide member 204 in part of the whole area on which the printing plate 12 is wound and as an auxiliary guide for positioning the printing plate on the peripheral surface locus of the predetermined radius of the rotation axis 200 when the printing plate 12 is wound, the printing plate 12 can be wound on the periphery locus with good accuracy and can be held.
