Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating drive unit, which makes installation accuracy to a rotating shaft of a rotor high; and a recording device using it.
SOLUTION: The generation of rotor distortion accompanies the dimensional error of the rotating shaft is prevented by fixing a hub 32 of the rotor 24 by pressing into an insertion part 27 which is inserted into a slide bearing 21 of the rotating shaft. Further, positioning is made by making an abutting part 36 abut on a stepped surface 37, and the hub 32 is fixed with high positioning accuracy. Further, an area that the rotating shaft 22 faces the hub 32 can be enlarged by providing a small diameter part 28 with the rotating shaft 22, and when interposing a filler such as an adhesive agent or the like between the rotating shaft 22 and the hub 32, the effect of the filler can surly be attained since the filler can be interposed over a wide area.
