Abstract:
To provide a rotary electric machine with higher power efficiency and greater specific performance (power and/or torque).SOLUTION: An electric machine includes a shaft 2 and a permanent magnet 23. A rotor 4 mounted on the shaft 2 and a magnetic core consisting of a series of thin plates made of ferromagnetic material are included. A stator with a plurality of stator slots crossing it in the longitudinal direction and a plurality of rigid bars are included. The bars are covered with an insulating coating on the outside and have stator windings inserted in the corresponding stator slots. The rotor 4 has a plurality of magnetic elements 22. The plurality of magnetic elements 22 is arranged in a row around an axis of rotation 3 so as to form a closed ring. Each magnetic element 22 is formed by a plurality of permanent magnets 23. The plurality of permanent magnets 23 is arranged axially according to a Halbach arrangement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
