Abstract:
To make it possible to replace a use detection unit with another detection unit early when the use detection unit is abnormal.SOLUTION: A control unit 52 controls a rotary electric machine 20 on the basis of a rotation angle of a rotor 21 detected by a use detection unit that is either a main detection unit 31 or a sub detection unit 32. A temporary abnormality determination unit 43 performs temporary abnormality determination on the main detection unit 31 earlier than predetermined final abnormality determination on a condition that a predetermined temporary abnormality determination condition is satisfied. A changeover unit 54 changes the use detection unit from the main detection unit 31 to the sub detection unit 32 on the condition that temporary abnormality determination is performed on the main detection unit 31 when the use detection unit is the main detection unit 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
