Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electrical machine with high cooling performance.SOLUTION: A rotating electrical machine comprises: a motor body including a rotor and a stator; a case including a cylindrical peripheral wall part surrounding the motor body and the end wall parts provided on both sides of the peripheral wall part; a control device housing part mounted on the peripheral wall part; and a motor control device housed in the control device housing part. The control device housing part includes: a first heat sink arranged on the motor body side; a second heat sink arranged on the side opposite to the motor body; a first cooling liquid passage provided in the first heat sink; and a second cooling liquid passage provided in the second heat sink and communicating with the first cooling liquid passage. The motor control device is tucked between the first heat sink and the second heat sink.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
