To provide a rotating electronic component that can maintain desired rotational torque even when exposed to a high temperature atmosphere during reflow soldering.SOLUTION: A rotating electronic component 1 includes a rotating member 2, a holding member 3, and an elastic body 4. The rotating member 2 is rotatable around an axis R. The holding member 3 rotatably holds the rotating member 2.
