To solve problems on the waste disposal of a lantern or a drift lantern by providing a rotating garden lantern, a commodity as an offering in visiting a grave, devised for younger generations to respect the ancestry and to make them conscious of visiting graves even if they do not have a custom to erect a garden lantern.
The top of the rotating garden lantern is rotatable, and the rotating garden lantern is made of paper and bamboo skewers so that it can be disposed of as flammable waste. A red lantern or a white lantern can be selectively purchased. The bamboo skewers can be adjusted without using a tool according to the height and size of a grave to be erected on the ground. The bamboo skewers can be also stuck into a flower stand or incense stick holder. The rotating garden lantern has a heart-warming design and function as an offering. There is no restriction on occasions for erecting the rotating garden lantern; it may be erected for the Bon Festival as well as in the equinoctial weeks in spring and autumn, or may be erected in front of a grave, in front of a Buddhist altar indoors, or under eaves.
