Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a magnet fixing member disposed between a magnet hole and a permanent magnet in a rotor for a rotary electric machine from scattering to the outside, even if the magnet fixing member is broken.SOLUTION: A rotor 10 for a rotary electric machine includes: a rotor core 14 having a plurality of magnet holes 16; permanent magnets 20 inserted to each of the plurality of magnet holes 16; a magnet fixing member 22 disposed in a gap formed between the whole outer peripheral surface of the permanent magnets 20 and internal surfaces of the magnet holes 16 for each of the plurality of the magnet holes 16; and a resin cap 30 which is tightly fixed to each of both end surfaces of the rotor core 14 and which is disposed so as to cover exposed part of the magnet fixing member 22, for each of the plurality of the magnet holes 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
