Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine which eliminates a shaft voltage occurring in its shaft system while inhibiting increase of its size.SOLUTION: A rotary machine 1 includes a rotary shaft 40 rotatably provided at a casing 30 and includes: an end plate 35 which is provided at one axial end side of the casing 30 and positioned at an anti-direct coupling side of the rotary shaft 40; a recessed part 35a formed at the end plate 35 and recessed to an inner side of the casing 30; an insertion hole 35b formed at the recessed part 35a and into which one end part 41 of the rotary shaft 40 is inserted; and a shaft grounding device 70 which is provided at the recessed part 35a, contacts with the one end part 41 of the rotary shaft 40 inserted into the insertion hole 35b, and eliminates a shaft voltage occurring in the rotary shaft 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
