Abstract:
To suppress the effect of a d-axis magnetic flux even when the d-axis magnetic flux leaks from a rotor and accordingly is included in a detection magnetic flux.SOLUTION: A rotation angle detection device 90 detects the rotation angle of a rotor 60 of a rotary electric machine 95, and comprises a magnet 11, a detection unit 12, a d-axis current acquisition unit 24, and an angle calculation unit 30. The magnet 11 rotates together with the rotor 60. The detection unit 12 detects, as a detection magnetic flux Φa, magnetic flux in which a leaked magnetic flux from the rotor 60 of d-axis magnetic flux Φd generated by the rotary electric machine 95 is superimposed on a magnet magnetic flux Φe that is the magnetic flux of the magnet 11. The d-axis current acquisition unit 24 acquires the value of d-axis current which is a component of a current flowing in a circuit 54 of the rotary electric machine 95, and which generates the d-axis magnetic flux Φd. The angle calculation unit 30 calculate the rotation angle of the rotor 60 on the basis of the detection magnetic flux Φ the d-axis current value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
