Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation device in which poor operation caused by dispersion of a lubricant agent is reduced more.SOLUTION: This rotation device comprises a solid body; a rotor rotatably supported in respect to the solid body; a holding clearance to hold fluid between the rotor and the solid body; a fluid dynamic pressure generating part for generating dynamic pressure in the fluid at the holding clearance; a taper space connected to one end of the holding clearance to cause the spacing to be reduced toward the holding clearance; a cap including an annular cover part arranged at the solid body to cover at least a part of an end part opposite to the holding clearance in the taper space and a cylindrical part extending in an axial direction from an outer circumferential part of the cover along a rotating axis of the rotor; and an annular groove including an annular first wall part arranged at the rotor to enclose the cylindrical part through a first gap, an annular second wall part enclosed annularly at the cylindrical part through a second gap and a bottom part oppositely facing the axial direction through an end part at opposite side of the cover part of the cylindrical part and a third gap.
