Title:
ROTATION SENSOR MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF WHEEL BEARING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004132782
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a rotation sensor mounting structure of a wheel bearing device capable of directly clipping the rotation sensor on a fixing member without backlash.

A hole 15 into which a case 14a of the rotation sensor 14 is inserted in the radius direction is provided through a projecting part 13 in the axial direction formed on the end of an external member 3 on the magnetic ring 12 mounting side, and a collar 16 for positioning the case 14a in the insertion direction by pushing it onto the peripheral surface of the hole 15 is provided on the side of the case 14a. Bow-shaped plate springs 17 to be pressed onto the inner circumferential surface of the hole 15 are mounted on three spots having different side directions of portions opposite to the inner circumferential surface of the hole 15. Hereby, the case 14a is fixed in the hole 15 without backlash by pressing forces by the plate springs 17 in the three different directions to the inner circumferential surface of the hole 15, and the case 14a becomes simply detachable for repair or replacement.
