Abstract:
To provide a rotation transmission device which is improved in operational stability even in a case where the inside is lubricated by a lubricant supplied from the outside.SOLUTION: In a rotation transmission device 1, a roller 50 (engagement unit) is held by a holder 60 between an outer periphery of an inner shaft 10 and an inner periphery of an outer ring 20, an armature 90 is detented to the holder 60 and when the armature 90 is magnetically attracted to a ferromagnetic rotor 100 by electrification to an electromagnet 120, the roller 50 is engaged to the inner shaft 10 and the outer ring 20. The rotation transmission device 1 comprises a contact seal 34 for blocking the inflow of a lubricant L from the outside to a clearance between opposed faces of the rotor 100 and the armature 90. A magnetic path cutoff hole 103a of the rotor 100 is closed by a nonmagnetic lid body 103b. An oil passage 15 is provided for guiding the lubricant L from the outside to a clearance between the inner periphery of the outer ring 20 and the outer periphery of the inner shaft 10, and a foreign substance contained in the lubricant L is removed by a filter 15c inside of the oil passage 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
