PURPOSE: To provide a rotation transmitting system for tape recorder, in which winding or feeding reel is selectively rotated by the intermediary of idler roll that is moved along a prescribed passage, whereby fluctuation in rotation of capstan shaft can be eliminated with a simple arrangement.
