Abstract:

PURPOSE: To generate a rotational angle detection signal for calculating an ignition timing at a constant rotational angle position of an internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: First and second signals are obtained from a signal coil 1. A first integral condensor C1 is charged at a specified time constant during a period from generation of the respective second signals to the generation of the next second signal. and thereby the first integral condensor C1 is electrically discharged and first integral voltage Vc1 is secured when the second signal is generated. A second integral condensor C2 is charnged at a specified time constant during a period from generation the first signal to the generation of the second signal, and the second integral condensor C2 is discharged when the second signal is generated and second integral voltage Vc2 is secured. Both the integral voltages Vc1 and Vc2 and mutually compared by means of a comparator CP1, and a rotational angle detection signal is generated when the second integral voltage is becomes higher than the first integral voltage.
