Abstract:
To provide a rotational speed control method for an induction motor that can be smoothly started without being influenced by a device load situation.SOLUTION: In accordance with a rotational speed control method for an induction motor which controls a voltage value to be supplied to the induction motor by disposing two thyristors while connecting them oppositely in each of phases of an AC power source that supplies power to the induction motor such as a three-phase induction motor, for example, and controlling ignition angles of the thyristors, a rotational speed of the induction motor is detected and the voltage value to be supplied to the induction motor is controlled in such a manner that the rotational speed becomes a predetermined speed pattern. Thus, smooth driving is made possible without being influenced by a load. Especially, when using the induction motor as a driving source of a conveyer device, by setting two of a rotational speed increase phase in the case of start and a constant rotational speed phase during normal driving (at a rating speed), effects of the present invention are made remarkable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
